74 Academic Programs from Al-Madinah International University Registered Under Malaysian Qualifications Register

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) recently received full accreditation for their program Master in Accounting (MQA/FA0447), thus being the 74th academic program of MEDIU to have achieved the MQR status from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). The full updated MQR list for MEDIU can be seen through this webpage.

MQA establishes and maintains a national register known as the Malaysian Qualifications Register (MQR) containing programmes, qualifications, and accredited programs from higher education providers. MQR’s objective is to provide information on accredited programmes awarded by higher education providers. These programmes must conform to the Malaysian Qualifications Framework which acts as Malaysia’s declaration about its qualifications and their quality in relation to its education system. MQA acts to implement the Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF) which is a basis for quality assurance of higher education and as the reference point for the criteria and standards for national qualifications.

MEDIU’s CEO, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi expresses his appreciation and gratitude to the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), the Ministry of Higher Education, academic faculty members, and the registrar department on their dedication and efforts for the said accreditation. With this, Prof. Dr. Al-Tamimi is hoping that this achievement will enhance MEDIU’s academic procession and development in all university centers in the Arab countries.
