The Rector of Anadolu University, Professor Naci Gündogan, was given an honorary doctorate by UNAD (Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia) on 18 May 2017 in Bogota, Colombia.

After presenting a brief overview of the Open Education System of Anadolu University, Rector Gündogan delivered a keynote speech entitled “The Challenges Faced by Universities in Shaping the Future Generations in the 21st Century.”

AAOU congratulates Rector Gündogan and Anadolu University for this achievement, and is looking forward to working with Anadolu University for years to come.
