The Open University of Sri Lanka awarded two AAOU Inter – university Staff Exchange Fellowships for the year 2019 for a period of one month each. Fellowship recipients are Dr. Aminudin Zuhairi from University of Terbuka, Indonesia and Dr. Jeetendra Pande from Uttarakhand Open University, India.

Dr. Zuhairi will be focusing on “Supporting students to succeed in Open and Distance Learning: Good Practices and Lessons learnt from the Open University of Sri Lanka and University Terbuka, Indonesia during the fellowship. He will be closely working with Dr. N. Karthikeyan, Head of the Department of Physics and Senior Lecturer of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of OUSL.

Dr. Pande will be focusing on “Comparison of Open educational Practices at Uttarakhand Open University and the Open University of Sri Lanka” and would be closely working with Professor Shironica P. Karunanayake, Dean of Faculty of Education of OUSL and Professor in Educational Technology.
