A team from the Department of Molecular Biology, Virtual University of Pakistan, carried out a collaborative questionnaire-based survey regarding the preparedness of Pakistani citizens for the COVID-19 pandemic. The study highlighted general awareness among masses about the corona outbreak and analyzed the precautionary measures taken at individual and organizational level to combat it. A paper titled “Is Pakistan Prepared for the COVID-19 Epidemic?”  has been published in the Journal of Medical Virology-Wiley Online Library having an impact factor of 2.049.
