New Tourism Strategies and Tourism Recovery Recognition award event was held at Asia e University Subang Jaya Campus recently. The School of Professional and Executive Education Development (SPEED) the corporate training arm of Asia e University (AeU) with DHS Hospitality Academy, Asia Tourism Association and Human Resource Hospitality Association organized the event. The event was officiated by Prof Dato’ Dr Ansary Ahmed, the Founder President of Asia e University(AeU).
The Program was a half-day program attended by 20 participants from the tourism industry. For the morning session, there were sharing sessions by the President of Malaysian Tourism Council Encik Uzaidi Udanis and Deputy of Asia Tourism Association Dr Raziff Jamaluddin regarding the new tourism strategies with the tourism practitioners.
In the afternoon session, the event’s highlight was the Tourism Recovery Recognition Award. Six participants were given recognition awards by the Asia Tourism Association and Asia Hospitality Human Resource Association for their contribution and leadership skills during the hard times during the pandemic session. Prof Dato’ Dr. Ansary Ahmed, the Founder President of Asia e University received the award under the category of Edu Tourism. He is the ambassador of Edu Tourism Malaysia and the Asia Center for Tourism patron. The Center has developed 54 programs related to the Tourism & Hospitality Industry and approved by the Human Resource Development Corporation.
