Virtual University of Pakistan signed first ever online MOU with The Women University Multan. MOU ceremony was held online which was attended by Mr. Naeem Tariq, Rector Virtual University of Pakistan, Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi, Vice Chancellor of The Women University Multan and principal officers of both Universities.

Virtual University of Pakistan being the top University in ICT based education is helping all other institutions in E-learning especially in the current scenario of COVID-19. This MOU was also a part of this effort. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Naeem Tariq said that VUP will provide access to research and educational resources including Open Course Ware for faculty and students. VUP will collaborate to develop facilities of virtual learning at campuses of WUM.

He said that both the Universities will facilitate each other in joint research collaborations, joint publications of scientific papers and in development of educational materials. Exchange of faculty and students for mutual benefit is also a key feature of this MOU. Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi said that both organizations will collaborate in holding joint seminars, workshops, conferences and other educational events for the betterment of education. At the end of the event, Prof. Dr. Uzma Quraishi thanked VUP for facilitating Institutions of South Punjab including WUM.
