On September 24, 2026, Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU) hosted a One-Day Research Methodology Workshop under the AAOU Collaborative Research Programme (AAOU-CRP) for the project Enhancing Access and Institutional Capacity for Employability through Technology-Enabled Blended Vocational Education and Training (TeB-VET), led by NSOU project proponents Prof. Anirban Ghosh and Dr. Papiya Upadhyay alongside collaborating team members Dr. Gobinda Deka (KKHSOU) and Dr. Ghanta Pushpa Chakrapani (BRAOU).

The event featured a keynote address by AAOU Secretary General Madam Fan Xianrui, Inaugural addresses by Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani (Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, BRAOU), Prof. Rajendra Prasad Das (Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, KKHSOU), and Smt. Ananya Mitra (Registrar Acting, NSOU), and expert-led tool validation by Dr. Madhuri Dubey (Director, National Skills Network).

The workshop successfully achieved content validation for both primary research instruments: the 36-item quantitative survey (demonstrating high internal consistency with a Cronbach’s Alpha of 0.966, $N=74$) and the qualitative semi-structured interview schedule, which was systematically aligned with the TPACK framework to evaluate institutional capacity, administrative processes, and technology integration. This rigorous validation paves the way to launch field data collection across 600 learners/alumni and 45 faculty members  & academic administration across the three partner universities by November 2026.
