In celebration of its 40th anniversary, Anadolu University (AU) is awarding 40 institutional and individual fellowships to researchers worldwide in 2022 and 2023. Institutional fellowships will be for academic staff working in ICDE, EADTU, EDEN, and AAOU member institutions, whereas individual fellowships will be provided for international researchers. By means of the Fellowship Program, it is intended to create and maintain sustainable collaboration among researchers and higher education institutions and increase partnerships and networking in the field of ODL.

AU will provide the successful fellowship candidates with the following:
- A research partner among AU academic staff
- Accommodation (Free of charge)
- Daily meals and/or daily allowance to cover meals
- Office/working space with an internet access
- Access to the University’s library resources/IT center
