Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University’s Plan on Creating International Information and Facilitation Centre (IIFC)

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU) has embarked on a groundbreaking initiative to establish International Information and Facilitation Centres (IIFC) at various foreign universities worldwide for guiding and motivating the students for enrolling in various programmes/courses at the University.

This strategic move aims to enhance the university’s global outreach and facilitate access to its diverse educational programs for international students. The IIFCs will serve as vital hubs for providing comprehensive information about BAOU’s academic offerings, admission procedures, and support services, fostering greater collaboration and exchange between BAOU and international educational institutions.

By creating these centres, BAOU reaffirms its commitment to promoting inclusive and flexible learning opportunities across borders, enabling a global community of learners to benefit from its innovative open and distance education model. This initiative marks a significant step towards strengthening BAOU’s presence on the global stage and contributing to the internationalization of higher education.

In this chain of activities, university has initiated the communications to open IIFCs at USA, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Mozambique etc. University has further initiated the process to offer various programmes/courses in Gujarati Language and Indian Knowledge System (IKS).
