AAOU COL Fellowship 2025 is Here!
We are pleased to inform you the AAOU COL Fellowship 2025 is finally OPEN for applications!!
Are you coming from one of the Asian Commonwealth nations, i.e. Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Pakistan or Sri Lanka? You are most welcome to try your luck on this fellowship. The fellowship will defray the Conference registration fee and compensate fully or partly for the delegate’s own expenses on local accommodation—but not the travel.
This year the 38th AAOU Annual Conference is hosted by the Open University of China and will be held in Kuntai Glory Hotel, Beijing, China from 20-23 October 2025.
The following conditions will apply for granting the funds:
- The grant will be given to 10 delegates who register for on-site participation of the whole of the Conference (20-23 October 2025).
- The delegates must come from Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Pakistan or Sri Lanka.
- Preference will be given to young or mid-career practitioners (rather than policy-makers) of distance education who have not had the opportunity to attend the Conference in the past.
- Greater participation of women is preferred.
- The delegates must use the funds (CAD500 per delegate supported) to defray the Conference registration fee and local accommodation expenses — but not travel.
- Only delegates whose abstracts have been accepted for oral presentation at the Conference will be eligible.
