Wawasan Open University (WOU) will host the 4th International Conference on Intelligent Manufacturing and Robotics (ICiMR 2026) on 3–4 November 2026 at its main campus in Penang, Malaysia.

Jointly organised with Sunway University, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), and Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU), Indonesia, the hybrid conference will bring together academics, researchers, engineers, and industry practitioners to share research and explore the latest developments in intelligent manufacturing and robotics.

Key areas include intelligent manufacturing systems, robotics and automation, industrial AI, smart factories and Industry 4.0, semiconductors and advanced engineering, and digital transformation in manufacturing.
